P4 had a great start to ‘Maths Week’ in class today. Lots of number facts, a dice challenge, some ‘Maths Week Ireland’ puzzles and of course lots and lots of Mathletics. Revision of written addition and subtraction also took place recently. All this will definitely help in the lead up to Halloween assessments which will take place soon in school. Well done also to all the P4 parents who continue to support their children so much with the ‘New Wave’ Maths homework and with the supervision of Mathletics at home. Mrs O’Neill really appreciates this wonderful home learning partnership. Should your child require additional Maths challenges or support in any area of Maths, there are many Maths facts to learn in the 'New Wave' series, suggestions on the ‘Links’ section in the ‘Home Learning’ part of the school website as well as many downloadable booklets within the Mathletics program which can all be used at home too.
