P4 have been working extremely hard at home and in school in recent weeks. They have worked through lots of new topics like ‘Fractions and Division’ in Maths. They have revisited ‘Telling Time’ using digital and analogue ways too. They have been working on lots of different spelling and comprehension strategies, always taking care to re-read and check their work. For ‘Grow In Love’ the focus has been learning about ‘The Rosary’ especially the Joyful Mysteries and they even took part in a virtual ‘Rosary Relay’. The weather has been so lovely that they were able to get outdoors for lots of WAU and wellbeing work. They drew lots of wonderful wildlife art, painted some more ‘Positivity Rocks’ and even planted up some ‘Flower Buckets of Happiness’ for the Windmill Hill. They enjoyed using the percussion instruments as accompaniment to their ‘Seed Story’. IXL is really helping with the retention of Maths and English skills in so many curriculum areas. Well done P4!
