It seems a lot of you have been very busy this afternoon. Lily-May (P5) managed 8 under and overs and said she is just happy she beat Mr Gilchrist! She also managed 24 in the throw and catch challenge. Caitlin (P5) and Meah (P3) were having great fun. Meah scored 7 with throwing and catching the ball and Caitlin 15. In the "over and under" Meah got 7 and Caitlin achieved 12. Dante managed 10 over and unders and 5 catch and throw but yesterday he managed 51 jumps over stick. In the ball challenge for Caoimbhe (P6) got 40 and in the Over and Under she managed 16. Ethan (P1) had a lot of fun with today's two challenges. He managed 32 throw and catch of the ball and 7 over and under. Oscar (P1) took the hard approach to this challenge....but still managed to beat Mr Gilchrist by getting 5! Tom has had great fun during sports week and he was especially delighted that he managed to beat Mr Gilchrist's score getting 6! Adam (P4) and Lucy (Nursery) again enjoyed today’s two challenges. In the throw & catch challenge Adam scored 41 in the 30 seconds and Lucy caught the ball 9 times without it dropping. In the under and over challenge Adam scored 11 and Lucy 6. They were both very happy to beat Mr Gilchrist’s score!
Leah (Nursery) managed 6 over and under and 9 throw and catch today. Daithi achieved a score of 30 ball catches . Callie achieved a score of 4. In the over and under challenge Daithi achieved a score of 9 and callie achieved 6.

In yesterdays speed bounce Bella (Nursery) managed 9 and Charlotte (P6) got 11. They used a teddy as Charlotte managed to squash the cereal box on the first attempt and cheerios went everywhere. There was another laughter fit and a clean up job! in the ball bounce Charlotte got 8 and Bella managed 3 and in the over and under challenge Bella got 3 and Charlotte managed 4. As usual a lot of laughing and fun had. Olivia (Nursery) for the over and under decided to go over her slide and under the brush...she managed to do this 8 times and in the throw and catch challenge she managed 7. Sophia managed to do 18 over and under and 46 catches of the ball...camogie practice definitely paying off for this one.

Most of you seem to be beating my score today - can I use "older bones" as an excuse??

Another update later and then our final "Sports Week" challenge and we have a special one lined up for you all!
