Mrs Joan McCombe, on behalf of the Down and Connor Diocesan Education Committee, visited our school today (Tuesday) to congratulate our school, and our whole school community, on the honour of receiving the ‘Spirit of Catholic Education Award 2021’. This award is presented in recognition of the outstanding work and commitment to promoting the ethos and values of Catholic Education. Our school was nominated and within the 4 levels of this award, our school received the highest 'Distinction' award. We accept this as a recognition of the on-going contribution our school makes to the holistic development and faith formation of our pupils, our staff and our schooling community.
Accepting this award, on behalf of the school is Capt. Eddie McGee (representing our School's Board of Governors), Mr P Gilchrist (Principal), Mrs C Gibson (Teacher and RE Co-Ordinator) and Aoibhinn, Braden, Grace and Chris on behalf of our pupils.
