We had a busy morning in Nursery today. Vikki from Plant and Play Workshop came to visit. We started off with a story about Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell. We then got to colour in our very own Norman Slug. Vikki had some mini beasts with her and we got to see a really tiny snail and a bigger snail up close. We could even hold the bigger snail if we wanted to. Next we got to plant some sunflower seeds to take home. We are going to watch these as they start to grow and when they get bigger we are going to send Vikki some photos of them. We finished the Workshop off with a fun game of Pop the Bubbles. We had to pretend to be snails and burst the bubbles, but we had to watch out for birds. If Vikki saw any, she let us know and we had to get in to our shells really quickly. We really enjoyed the Workshop!
