It has been a busy time in P4 in recent weeks and it will be even busier in the weeks ahead. The boys and girls have been working hard in school and at home revising lots of Literacy and Numeracy topics through their New Wave work, Mathletics, Heinemann and Collins series. Lots of work on grammar, punctuation, spellings, multiplication, division, measures and shape as well as learning about Lent and more recently ‘The Stations of the Cross’ in their Grow in Love programme with visits to the chapel helping along the way too. Reading and comprehension skills are moving on through their wonderful performances in Accelerated Reader quizzes. The class have also enjoyed discovering new fact and story books for their WAU topic ‘What a Waste’ and are keeping up to date with current events on the c2k Newsdesk as well as learning lots of new hymns for choir. So many different ways of learning which suit so many different little learning styles. Keep up the fabulous momentum at home and in school P4!
