Today to celebrate earth day we read some information about how to look after our planet. We talked about the 3 Rs - reduce, reuse and recycle. Then we went outside and tiptoed around the school grounds to see if we could spot some birds. We could hear a lot of birds and spotted a few different types. The birds started to respond to some of our bird noises! We saw a nest in a tree as well. When we came back in we used pipe cleaners and cheerios to make some bird feeders which we put on the trees outside our classroom. Hopefully tomorrow we will see birds coming to have a wee snack!
