We had a very special visitor today. Lynda-Jane from Music Bugs came to do a fantastic workshop with us! We all had our own ladybird spots to sit on which had a bag full of fun things in it. We got to choose an instrument from a big container. We sang The Hello Song. We used our instruments for Daddy’s Taking Us to the Zoo Today and Bop and Stop. Check out the video to see our fantastic listening skills. We did Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. We then got a special glove from our bag of tricks that had five little monkeys on it which was a clue for our next song! Next we did Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. The next instrument we needed out of our bag was claves. We used these for Tick Tock goes the Clock and What does the Clock in the Hall Say? We put that instrument away and took a teddy from our bag for Bounce the Teddy. Next, Lynda-Jane took out a big blue blanket which we all had to hold really tightly. We used this for Five Little Bunnies. After this we had bubbles in nursery and we had to try and catch them in lots of different ways! We got very colourful ribbons from our bags to do Wiggy, Wiggy, Wiggles and I can Sing a Rainbow. We had one last go with our chosen instrument for the Little Drum song and then it was time to sing the Goodbye Song! It was a brilliant workshop. The boys and girls were little musical superstars!
