On Thursday 30th March we had a very special visitor to Nursery. Lynda-Jane from Music Bugs came to see us. She brought lots of different resources with her. We got special ladybird mats to sit on. We chose two instruments each from a big box. We sang the Hello song. We used our instruments to sing a Peter Rabbit song. We were given two little bird finger puppets and used these to sing Two Little Dickie Birds. We became little Sleeping Bunnies. We got a special glove to help us sing 5 Current Buns. Lynda-Jane brought out a big sheet of blue material and we all had to hold a bit of it. Then she threw 5 chicks on to it. We shook the material to make the chicks jump. We sang Chick, Chick, Chick, Chick, Chicken and guess what…..an egg appeared! We got some colourful rainbow ribbons and used these to sing Wiggle and Freeze and Shake Your Sillies Out. Lynda-Jane brought out a bubble machine and we had to listen carefully to find out what way we had to try and pop the bubbles. Next up was the parachute! When the music was fast, we shook it. When the music was slow, we had to pass it round to our friends. We got our instruments again and sang the Easter Bunny Hokey Cokey! Our last song was the goodbye song. We had so much fun with Lynda-Jane! She was so impressed with us that she gave us special Music Bugs stickers and has promised to come back and see us again soon!
