Today P7 had their first Zoom lesson with Abbie Pollock, a 2nd year medical student from QUB.
It is a programme called Medics in Primary Schools (MiPS) that we have agreed to participate in.
Today the children met Abbie and had the opportunity to ask questions about medicine and what it takes to train and work in the medical profession.
Over the next few weeks the children will get to learn about the skeleton, digestive system and muscles delivered by a medical student who is learning, first-hand, about these things in the medical world.
The children are looking forward to their next session.
