We had a special day in Nursery today. It was Green Day in school to celebrate Saint Patrick. We watched a film all about our special Saint. Mrs Birt brought in some shamrocks for us to look at. We loved seeing them up close. Matilda and Clara thought the leaves looked like little hearts. We found out that St. Patrick used this plant to teach people about God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When Aoife heard this she said that’s just the same as when we bless ourselves. Mr Gilchrist told us some more facts about St. Patrick and how our chapel is named after him. We coloured in pictures of this special Saint to take home. We also got some very special cards ready to take home. We made them for our mummy to tell her how much we love her. We would like to wish all the ladies connected to nursery a very happy Mother’s Day and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to everyone!
