At our most recent meeting, we discussed more of our plans to make our school as eco friendly as possible. We noticed that a lot of litter and waste was caused by Crisp Packets. We found a company called Terracycle who recycle crisp packets and found a collection point in Portaferry (Queens’ Marine Biology Centre). We discussed where our collection boxes should be and how we can encourage more people to go ‘Waste Free’ on Wednesdays.
