Easy Jet Compensation claim

10th Jul 2018

Please find below the text of an e-mail from Mrs Donna Mackey who organised our trip to Belgium regarding an opportunity to claim compensation for our cancelled flight home. I have been assured that if you decide to claim that any compensation given is for you to avail of and does not need to be repaid back to the funders. I have attached the boarding passes for all pupils with their unique reference number. You need to scroll down for the Friday flight information as the first 34 copies refer to the outgoing flight on Tuesday. I have also attached a document from Mrs Mackey outlining the reason for the cancellation.

If you need to contact me to clarify any points, please feel free to do so at pgilchrist570@c2kni.net

Mr Gilchrist

___________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Paul/ Lorna   Just before you finish I wanted to let you know I have been successful in claiming compensation from Easyjet regarding our cancelled flight after initially being refused I followed it up through the CEDR and won.  The maximum amount that can be claimed is £220 or €250 per person.  I would ask you to advise your parents to access the claim form through the following link; https://www.easyjet.com/en/claim/eu261    I have attached boarding information for all pupils where details required can be found on the boarding passes.  We were delayed because of weather however flights before and after ours to Belfast and Gatwick were all able to leave ours was the only delayed flight because of the lack of crews and not weather.  I believe as they have paid out on my case they will do so for all other 63 passengers.  I have also attached a word document with my rationale a information on flights before and after ours.
