A great day was had by all in school today. We took delivery of Pizza’s in the morning, had class bubble dancing sessions in the hall, took class photographs, got involved in classroom Easter activities and the day was finished with the arrival of an ice cream van that supplied ice cream to everyone in school. It was a great start to our Easter holidays. There are more photographs and video clips available in each class page of the school website. Thank you to James from Captain Jack’s for supplying the pizza’s and to Paul, our ice cream driver.
We also had a special message from Colum Conlon, Chairman of Portaferry GAC, and Ciara Mageean, which we showed to all of our pupils. Thank you to Colum and Ciara for taking the time to do this.
On behalf of all of the staff in St Mary’s, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and all of your families a very Happy Easter and we look forward to seeing you all again on 12th April.
